Job Description

Assists Chef with preparing Meals, implementing menus and controlling food preparation DUTIES
  • Assume all Executive Chef responsibilities in his/her absence.
  • Assists with menu design & development.
  • Assist in the establishment and maintenance of the inventories of all F&B areas within department guidelines. Ensure compliance to food product ordering, receiving and inventory control.
  • Prepare and adjust kitchen schedules to ensure presence of management / supervisory staff on each shift with objective to meet customer service standards.
  • Conduct inspections of all food storage and service areas for conformance with Government / Company safety, security and sanitation requirements.
  • Maintains current and accurate standard operating procedural manuals to include: menu item preparation and specifications, safety and security, purchasing, ordering, receiving, stocking, requisitioning and internal audit policies.
  • Responds to guest inquires and complaints in a professional and urgent manner. Maintains accurate outlet analytical information throughout the year to support budgeting planning.
  • Attends and participates in required department manager meetings
  • Directs and observes workers engaged in preparing, portioning and garnishing foods to ensure methods of cooking and garnishing portions are as prescribed.
  • Cooks and carves meats and prepares dishes during rush periods and for banquets, social functions and a la carte dining.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training back of the house team members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining team members; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Job Description

As a Front Desk Agent, you will:
  • Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guests.
  • Issues room key and escort instructions to Bellhop.
  • Date stamps, sorts, and racks incoming mail and messages.
  • Transmits and receives telephone messages.
  • Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registration of guests; and shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
  • Keeps records of room availability and guests' accounts.
  • Computes bill, collects payment, and makes change for guests.
  • Makes and confirms reservations.
  • Posts charges such as room, food, liquor, or telephone, to ledger.
  • Makes restaurant, transportation, or entertainment reservation, and arranges for tours.
  • Assists guests with deposit of guests' valuables in hotel safe or safe deposit box.
  • Nightly bucket checks
  • Able to listen and find solutions to guests problems

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

This jobs primary purpose is to enter tour guest information into computer and assist sales representatives with their appointments. DUTIES Run reports at end of day for manifest. Enter tour guest information into computer. Input salespeople for daily attendance. Write and enter VAC-PAC appointments. Assist with progress reports. Take invitations to gift room and sales floor. Locate sales representatives and making sure that they have picked up their tours. Dispense telephone messages. Assist other sales departments as needed.

As an activities coordinator, you will:
  • Conduct adult and childrens activities.
  • Set up activities prior to activity start time. Clean up activities immediately upon conclusion.
  • Conduct and actively participate in arts and crafts with the adults and children, assisting and being energetic.
  • Conduct and actively participate in water games (in the pool), such as water volleyball, and other pool activities
  • Ensure guests safety during activities.
  • Responsible for enforcing safety rules and procedures with guests.
  • Keep inventory of guest participation, equipment, and guest interactions daily.
  • Follow daily procedure for opening and closing of activities center, including pool area, locking appropriate doors, and cleaning up.
  • Follow proper cash handling procedures including collecting monies, room charging, logging the money into the computer program, obtaining and distributing a receipt with guests signature, writing information on daily room charge ledger and handing the ledger to the front desk and dropping cash at close of shift.

Job Description

As a General Maintenance, you will:
  • Competencies in Plumbing, Electrical and HVAC repairs with minimal assistance or supervision.
  • Maintain and categorize records and work requests. Perform other custodial or maintenance duties, as required.
  • Perform preventative maintenance of all aspects of units, common areas and grounds.
  • Able to repair / replace doors, windows, walls, floor, ceiling, roofs, cabinetry, furniture and remodeling work, as required.
  • Perform plumbing maintenance on pipes, drains, faucets, disposals, showers, and jetted tubs using methods that include PVC, CPVC and fittings.
  • Able to reset / replace breakers, ballasts and other electrical fixtures including switches and sockets. Prevent and trouble shoot possible electrical hazards.
  • Possess a working knowledge of Appliances.
  • Repair interior walls, wall coverings and ceilings by patching drywall, replacing wood or wall coverings or texture and painting.
  • Competent skills regarding the operation of small hand and electrical tools, basic electrical, carpentry, painting and small machinery repair.
  • Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Any other reasonable request, as directed.

Pay rate: $20 / Hour Westgate is aggressively seeking a skilled Engineering Laundry Technician for our new commercial laundry facility. This is an outstanding opportunity for qualified candidates to open and work at a new commercial laundry facility. Technicians will support and service the equipment. We have a full line of commercial and industrial laundry equipment which supports multiple large properties throughout Orlando. SUMMARY The Engineering Laundry Technician will repair, maintain commercial laundry equipment, along with chemical system and equipment associated with a commercial laundry. Qualifications

Previous technical experience (in the laundry industry) is required. Applicant must possess a good working knowledge of electricity, plumbing, trouble shooting, and general mechanics. The equipment will include: Tunnel washers, dryers, ironers, towel folders, conveyors, overhead rail systems, air compressors, pneumatics, steam generators, small boilers. Oher support equipment such as A/C, spot coolers, all pieces of equipment that support the facility. A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team. In addition to maintaining equipment, responsibilities include: reading & comprehension of tech manuals, basic computer literacy in Microsoft programs and use of internet, completing documentation, ordering, written, meeting time lines, a good of use verbal communication with team members & vendors and other departments within the company. Dependability, Honesty, Accuracy & organizational skills in execution. Lastly, a sense of urgency and the understanding that the product production is key to our success.
